SPRINT ROLLER SHUTTERS TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GOODS AND SERVICES TAX
All goods are sold including the goods & services tax (GST) unless otherwise specified
2. PAYMENT
• The Purchase Price shall be paid to Sprint Roller Shutters at its address and at the time or times stipulated.
• We reserve the right to suspend the delivery of further goods if the terms of payment are not strictly adhered to by you.
• Any expenses, costs or disbursements incurred by us in recovering any outstanding monies including debt collection
agency fees or solicitor’s costs shall be paid by the Customer.
3. TITLE AND RISK
• Irrespective of the time when risk in the goods shall pass, passing of property and title in the Goods shall be determined as follows:
a) The customer hereby acknowledges that the property and title of the Goods shall remain with Sprint Roller Shutters until the customer has made payment in full of the Purchase Price and any other monies owing hereunder.
b) Pending payment in full of the Purchase Price and any other monies owing hereunder:
c) All goods remain the property of Sprint Roller Shutters until paid for in full. In the event that the Customer defaults in payment of the purchase Price, Sprint Roller Shutters and its employees or agents shall have the right to enter upon the Customer’s premises or any other premises where the Goods are known to be stored to repossess the goods, and for this purpose the Customer shall grant all reasonable access rights and Sprint Roller Shutters shall be entitled to do all things required to secure possession. Upon repossession of any of the goods Sprint Roller Shutters shall thereafter be entitled, in its discretion, to resell the Goods to any third party in which case the Customer shall not have any action whatsoever against Sprint Roller Shutters for the breach of contract or otherwise.
d) If the Customer sells or otherwise disposes of the Goods to a third party prior to making payment of the Purchase Price or any other monies owing hereunder, Sprint Roller Shutters shall be entitled to so much of the proceeds of such sale equivalent to the amount of monies owing to Sprint Roller Shutters by the Customer. In addition to paying other monies payable by the customer to Sprint Roller Shutters under this agreement, we shall be entitled to charge for and recover from the Customer on demand all costs, loss or damage incurred by us in exercising any of its rights under Condition 3(d) above, including, but not limited to, the cost of storage, transportation and administration costs at our prevailing commercial rates.
4. CUSTOMER ‘S LIABILITY AND DEFAULT
If the Customer shall:
• fail to make any payment due under the contract or commit any other breach of any of the Customer’s obligations under the contract; or
• suffer execution under any judgment; or
• commit an act of bankruptcy; or
• make any composition or arrangement with any creditor; or
• being a company, pass a resolution for winding up or have a receiver appointed over any of its property or have a winding up petition presented against it.
Sprint Roller Shutters (in addition to any other remedies hereby or statute conferred) may treat the contract as terminated and any part of the Purchase Price then unpaid, together with any other monies owing hereunder, whether or not due under the terms of the contract shall forthwith become due and payable. Any such termination shall be without prejudice to any claim or right we may otherwise possess.
5. SHIPMENT
Sprint Roller Shutters accepts no liability for loss, damage, delay, repair or replacement of goods whatsoever. Sprint is not responsible for freight once it leave the Altona premises. The customer assumes all liability associated with freight shipments, whether it has been arranged by Sprint or by the customer themselves.

S75/S100 Steel Roller Shutters & Roller Doors
Warranty Period
Domestic, Residential or Industrial/Commercial use 1 year on all components, labour and workmanship, if fitted by an authorised Sprint Installer.
One (1) year only, if fitted by parties other than an authorised Sprint Installer
Warranty Conditions
Subject to the undermentioned specific limitations and exceptions, the Manufacturer warrants all new doors, motors and electronic components of its manufacture to be free from defect in workmanship under normal use and service and further warrants all installation carried out by the Manufacturer or by its nominated installer/s to be free from defect and workmanship its obligations hereunder being limited to making good any such defect PROVIDED THAT notice of any claimed defect in material workmanship in or resulting from installation of any door shall have been given to the Manufacturer with the period from the date of installation as prescribed in the schedule hereto.
This warranty does not apply to any defect, loss or damage arising or caused directly or indirectly by or as a result of:-
I. Any masonry rendered or other surfaces cracking or collapsing during installation of the door;
II. Any defect or deterioration of timber including drying out after installation;
III. Any weakening or collapse of the structure to which the doors are affixed occurring any time after installation;
IV. Any damage to or deterioration in the condition of the doors occurring in transit by customer nominated or appointed carrier or occurring after delivery and prior to installation;
V. Any defect (including defects in component parts or accessories) rising from or attributable to the failure to carry out normal preventative maintenance or adjustment;
VI. To any additional defect damage or deterioration arising from or attributable to the operation of the door after it is known to be defective;
VII. Any door being installed with 800m of the sea or other body of water of equivalent or greater salt concentration or in an area subject to industrial fall out;
VIII. Any fault or surge in customer’s electricity supply;
IX. The door striking an immovable object during travel.
3.Water damage voids the existing warranty on all electronic components.
4.While Sprint Roller Shutters are long lasting and hard waring under normal conditions, this warranty does not extend to inherent defect in steel or other materials used in the manufacture. The Manufacturer will however, procure and assign to the customer the benefit of the warranty of the Manufacturer of the steel or other material.
5.If the Manufacturer has at request of the customer procured painting, powder coating or other surface application to its product this warranty does not extend to such painting, powder coating or other surface application. For this purpose, the Manufacturer at all times acts as agent of the customer. The Manufacturer may as a service to the customer but without any legal obligation to do so, assist the customer to obtain redress in respect to any defect.
6.Subject only to the provisions of the Trade Practices Act and any legislation of the State or Territory wherein the door of the Manufacturer shall have been sold or installed (which may confer certain rights on consumers of goods and those rights by such legislation may be rendered incapable of exclusion) this warranty supersedes and excludes all representations, warranties and conditions whether expressed or implied by law and the Manufacturer shall have no liability or otherwise than herein provided for any loss and damage (including consequential loss and damage, loss of use or profits) by reason of delay, defective or faulty materials or workmanship, negligence or any act, matter or thing done permitted or omitted to be done by the Manufacturer.
7.The Manufacturer reserves the right to touch up on site Colourbond and or pre-painted surfaces on its range of doors but no responsibility will be taken for the possibility of any paint rubs scuffing etc on the internal or external painted surface.
8.Proof of purchase MUST be provided to the manufacturer at the time of the warranty claim.
9.This warranty is subject and conditional upon bi-annual servicing being performed by Sprint Roller Shutters or it’s authorised representative.
Service & Maintenance
Low Cycle Doors (less than 10 cycles per day) – 6 monthly services
High Cycle Doors (more than 10 cycles per day) – 3 monthly services
